Classic Horror Fun Facts:
It has been alleged that a preview print of Frankenstein (1931) contained dialogue in which the Monster is called Adam, but that this scene was subsequently excised after the audience referred to the Monster as Frankenstein.
The Bride of Frankenstein (1935) originally contained a subplot in which Dwight Frye’s character murders his parsimonious aunt and uncle in order to shift blame, but this chain of events was immediately excised after a preview.
The wolf man make-up created by award-winning artist Jack Pierce took six hours to apply to Lon Chaney, Jr. and three to remove.
